We are glad to offer a new 10:1 focuser for the Brandon Master Birder. The focuser will include a ring that will screw on to the Master Birder. The focuser then can be aligned and mounted to the ring with set screws.
The focuser will work with 2" and 1.25" diagonals and a 1.25" Amici prism. There is an included 2" to 1.25" eyepiece adapter. There is a tightening compression ring to hold the diagonal/prism without damaging the finish on your equipment. This could be used for astronomical or terrestial use.
Although, this focuser is extremely thin, we have found that most eyepieces will not come to infinity focus with 2" Amici prisms. A 2" Amici prism can be used for close focus. This would be perfect for butterflies or birdhouses in your backyard.
